Tour of Remodeled Homes: Part III

To continue with the tour, this time the house that stole the show! You know you are not going to be disappointed when the streets around the home are filled with cars and people coming in and going out. This home had so much to take in! Would you like to come in?
Warning: I'm just sharing the best and most impressive areas. There were a lot of fantastic spaces to look at, but I just selected these pictures to provide you with a general an idea.

Brick entrance and manicured yard = winning combo
This spectacular home is located in an area that is surrounded by lakes, so the owner wanted to remodel the home to take advantage of the lake views.  Even though the house was built in the 90s, it needed a better flow which was achieved by repurposing every interior space to accommodate the owners' lifestyle. Traditional bones meets transitional elements to make the most of living by the lake.
Bold choice with the floral pattern contrasts with the clean lines of the storage units
French doors will take you out of the living room and into the deck
The view from the living room leads to this view of the lake which is exactly what made this home renovation worthy.

More pattern added to the black and white kitchen that opens into the family room
Custom lighting under the countertops adds a very delicate touch
Massive sectional in the family room to enjoy the splendid views of the lake
Home office featuring a fireplace with great natural light and spacious work space
Formal dining room with chairs repeating the pattern from the kitchen
Stunning lighting as the focal point
Unique choice of wallpaper makes this powder room one-of-a-kind
Simple and serene master suite with a bay window that overlooks the lake
Off the master suite the stairs that lead to the master closet
The master bathroom deserves a separate post, but I'll try my best to describe it here.
First of all, the walls are paneled which gives the room dimension and architectural interest. Then, the  his and hers sinks are located across from each other with lots of room to spread out. Next, the stand-alone-bathtub beautifully framed by the classic chandelier and the shimmery curtains that the camera could not capture.
Spa-like feeling at home everyday. What a treat!
It's practically impossible not to relax in this bathtub
Although the stand-alone bathtub was absolutely amazing, it was not the focal point of the space.
Why? Because the back wall featured this fabulous antique-looking square mirrors which I could not help to stare at for a while. Simple gorgeous!

Mirror, paneled walls and vanity colors flow effortlessly
The black vanity almost looks invisible which makes the countertop a floating feeling
Very clever use of the space by adding a sliding glass door into the completely tiled shower
And I saved the best for  last: the library! How incredible is this wrap-around library on the second floor?
The length in these light features acts as dual purpose in terms of both spaces: the living room and the library
Of course the library in this home would not be complete without a view of the lake. So on the other end of the space you can sit and enjoy the view with your favorite book in hand.
Notice the detail in the library doors replicates the under the countertop doors
Coffee table that stores additional seating is always a welcome bonus
This post concludes my series of the 2015 Tour of Remodeled Homes. As I promised, I just wanted to share the best full renovation projects from the entire list of properties. I hope you enjoyed this tour as much as I enjoyed writing about it.
